These pieces were written between 2020 and 2025. That half-decade held sacrifice, triumph, disappointment, and growth I’ve haven’t been able to articulate all at once. The poems weren’t written as a narrative, but together they unintentionally formed one—an archive of moments that evolved alongside me.
One of the most meaningful compliments I received as a child was being told I was creative—and that I could one day contribute as a writer. I carried that with me, even when it stayed quiet. Writing became a way to express what I couldn’t in conversation. I hope you recognize something of your own life in these pieces, or perhaps feel encouraged to return to passions you’ve held quietly.
